Stories of Flying

I’ve been doing a lot of flying for business lately.  Some stories from my flights:

I watched an international family in the Atlanta airport.  First the parents took pictures of their children in the Atlanta airport.  Then they asked someone to take their picture in the Atlanta airport.  Then they took a picture of the person who took their picture in the Atlanta airport.  Wow!

I felt I was on a “Final Destination” flight recently.  First, a pilot walked through the plane with a book titled “Lone Survivor”.  Immediately afterward, the safely talk came on the screen but the screen went to static and began to raise and lower erratically.  We survived the flight though.

While we were taking off during another flight, suddenly I heard a middle-aged lady scream “Help me Jesus”.  Apparently this was her first flight and she was very nervous.

You know you’re flying from a retirement town (Pensacola) when there were 10 people with wheelchairs getting on a plane that really wasn’t very big.

On a trip to Columbus Ohio, the flight attendant came on giving the normal arrival talk.  Then she yelled “O-H”, everyone yelled “I-O”.  I grew up in Ohio, but I’m not a football fan so I was just looking around going “What?”

Landed on one flight and everyone clapped.  You know it was a rough flight and landing when people clap.
