Zanesville Ohio

Recently I was able to see my college friends, Bill and Doreen.  We’ve been getting together since college.  This time we met in Zanesville.  Mostly we talked about old times, what we’re doing right now, and what the meaning of life is.  We haven’t figured it out, but someday we will.

The first day was rainy, but the second day was nice so we visited a park near the Muskingum River.  The park included veteran memorials and eternal flame dedicated to Medal of Honor recipients along with a sternwheeler.

In the background of one of these pictures is the Zanesville Y-bridge.  It’s one of the few bridges built like this in the U.S.  Amelia Earhart said “Zanesville is the easiest recognized city from the air because of the Y-Bridge.” I’ve included the google view just because it’s cool!
