We
stopped at Casa Grande. It’s a four story building built 700 years ago.
There
are several openings that may have been used for astronomical sightings.
The
walls are in pretty good condition considering they are basically made of mud
(caliche). Some supports have been added along with the roof to try to keep it
from falling apart.
It’s
in a compound of smaller buildings (only ruins left). Some of these building
had doors while other could only be reached through the roof. Storage
buildings?
