White Christmas in the Desert

The weather is perfect for Christmas. The weather has been warm recently, but clouds came in low on Christmas Eve Day.

We had the perfect Christmas Eve and Christmas Day when it turned cold and snowed in the mountains. We had a white Christmas! The best part was that while it was cold at our level it was still in the 50’s.

It’s been VERY windy and blowing things around the campground. We even found out that cactus sway in the wind like trees. However, by Christmas Day the wind died down and we were able to take a hike in the hills.
