Caprock Canyon and Crepuscular Rays

After seeing bison from afar, it was fun to drive into Caprock Canyon State Park in Texas. The bison blocked the road for us and another driver. Eventually they crossed. After parking at the visitor center to get a campsite, we had to hurry to get past the herd before they blocked the next road to the campground. Pretty cool!

On the way here, we saw fields of cotton being picked (by machine of course). We also saw these crepuscular rays (the technical term for sun rays). Always so cool to see…

Surprisingly, the campground has wifi. There’s no cell phone service, but we can get wifi at our site. So the blog is now up-to-date!
