Bringing rain to drought areas

Texas has been in a major drought.  Lakes have dried up (see picture).  Fireworks and camp fires have been banned.  Trees are crispy and fires have damaged several of the state parks we've visited.  As soon as we came to Texas it began to rain.  I'm happy for them and all, but it's getting a bit frustrating!

Not only was it raining, but it's cold.  Last night it rained all night and hailed several times.  Really interesting to hear hail when you're in an RV.  There's a major snowstorm in the area we were planning on visiting.  So, we booked an extra day in town and I'm revamping the trip completely to get us to warmer weather.  Oh, and here's the view from our RV right now!
